Formula 40 - 1986 40feet / 12.19metres

Built by CDK France, of Kevlar and carbon fibre, with the state-of-art boat construction of its time. It was built and designed as the first trimaran to fly the main hull on regular basis under sail. As the first and only Formula 40, built with an interior, it was built stronger than the later Formula 40's, but not heavier. The boat has always been kept in top professional race condition, professionally maintained and has been professionally raced most of it's boating life.
