The Ocean Cheetah is a design from the drawing board of multihull expert designer, John Shuttleworth. Using modern composite construction techniques for a fast offshore cruising catamaran, she is large enough for serious ocean passage making in comfort and safety.

CAD stress analysis and integrated structural engineering by Shuttleworth is turned into reality by producing a 100% PVC foam sandwich yacht with vacuum bonded laminates of multi-axial E-glass, carbon and aramid fibres.

Watertight compartments in the hulls and beams combined with the inherent buoyancy of the closed cell PVC foam make the Ocean Cheetah unsinkable whilst her wide beam gives the yacht high stability and sail carrying power.

A high aspect ratio sail plan coupled with efficient underwater foils and low windage, aerodynamic topsides give Ocean Cheetah a windward performance second to none – the ability to beat off a lee shore in a gale or to make a port to weather before nightfall.

The interior design of Ocean Cheetah features three double cabins, spacious cooking and washroom areas whilst the bridgedeck cabin saloon provides seating for eight or more guests.

Alternative interior arrangements are available within the confines of the fixed structural bulkheads and Shuttleworth would be happy to discuss the possibilities of customising Ocean Cheetah for individual clients.
