Construction
Designed by and modifications approved by Malcom Tennant, New Zealand.
First launched Oct. 1998. Completed 2002.
The construction of this yacht is based on first-class, modern, lightweight construction techniques throughout. The balsa sandwich construction results in the greatest strength for the least weight. Only high quality materials have been used. The interior is functional and elegant.

Materials
Balsa epoxy sandwich, aluminium, chrome steel, Saf-T-Glass,
Goiot Luken hatches, 2 part sprayed polyurethane paint - interior and exterior. Floors are either finished in wood or carpeted; the ceilings are finished with man-made leather or spray-painted; the hulls are equipped with fixed laminated wood keels.

Sails
Roller-furled main - 55 m2; roller-furled storm sail - 10 m2, roller-furled working jib - 40 m2, roller-furled genoa – 80 m2, roller-furled light-wind jib - 120 m2, gennaker, with a dousing sock - 150 m2.
Sail area on the wind, about 300 m2.

Deck gear
Four self-tailing Barient winches, of which 3 are hydraulic. All lines have superlock rope clutches and can be handled from the center cockpit. The catamaran is easy to operate single-handed. Afterdeck is canopied with Sunbrella over a permanent stainless-steel tube framework.

Engines
600 hours on twin Yanmar 100 hp. turbo diesel engines. 2 in. propeller shafts.
Maxwell variable pitch propellers.
Two 12 V 60 A alternators, two 24V 175 A alternators,
1450 liters of diesel in two tanks plus a 600 liter plastic tank,
2.2 KW 220 V gasoline generator.

Ground tackle
Hydraulic windlass, 100 lb. CQR, 70 lb. Danforth, 60 lb. Dragon, 60 lb. Fisherman, 85 meters/13 mm chain and 25 meters/10 mm chain,
Two 50 meter/20 mm anchor rodes and one 40 meter/30 mm anchor rode

Electronics
220VAC, 24VDC and 12VDC systems.
Batteries 750Ah 24VDC house bank, 500Ah 12VDC house bank, 300Ah 12VDC engine starter bank.
12V or 24 V 25 Amp battery charger.
2 wind generators one 12V at 35A and one 24V at 17A.
2 75W Siemens solar panels at 12V, 4 75W Siemens solar panels at 24V,
Trace automatic charge controller and meter.
Tri-color masthead light and ample deck lighting.

Navigation Instruments
Compass. VDO-logic system, wind speed and direction indicators, log, depth sounder. Autohelm 7000+ hydraulic autopilot. Raytheon radar. Raytheon 320 chartplotter. Hand-held Garmin GPS. Yaesu 850 all-frequency 150 W SSB transceiver and antenna tuner. VHF radio. Barometer.

Safety equipment
New Zealand safety certificate. MT300 EPIRB. Two Jabsco 21-cubic-meter/hr engine-powered bilge pumps. Twelve 800 gallon/hour electric bilge pumps with float switches. Emergency signaling set. 9 life vests, 2 safety harnesses, 2 life rings. One-meter high stainless steel stanchions with triple lifelines. 2 emergency tillers. 6 large fenders

Dinghy
N.Z. Force 4 – 3.20 m inflatable with 3.5 hp Mariner outboard, hangs from rear davits accessible by a boarding platform and gangway

Interior
Beautiful and luxurious 36m2 salon, dining table and chairs, coffee table, couches to seat 14 people, all-around views of the horizon, buffet and bar, central furniture-quality storage cabinet. Aiwa stereo, CD player with 5 CD turntable, AM/FM radio, 2 tape decks, 200 W amplifier, Dolby Surround System, 70 cm satellite TV dish

Galley
Large 6m2 galley 3 burner SS gas stove top, grill, oven, range hood ventilator. 240 liter propane/electric refrigerator, 60 l propane freezer, 4 15kg propane bottles. Stainless steel kitchen sink, pressurized hot/cold/saltwater systems with foot-pump backups. Lots of storage and counter space. The galley is equipped with all the necessities dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans.

Bathrooms
Three home-style bathrooms with showers, sinks, and toilets. 2 toilets are vacuum type heads with holding tank

Cabins
Four double cabins Owner’s cabin 10m2 with queen-size bed. Guest cabin 6m2 with double bed. double cabin 4m2 with bunk beds

Office
Office with desk, bookcases, chart cabinet, and counters

Navigation station
Chart table, 12/24VDC Master electrical panel, navigation instruments, etc.

Workroom
Counters, workbench, with lots of tools, spare parts, and hardware

The hull passageways are lined with lockers, drawers and counters. In the hulls are also a 5 kg automatic washing machine, a vacuum cleaner, and a Karcher pressure washer.
