Sails and Rigging
There are three Facnor furling systems, which adequately cover all needs. The wing mast, boom and spar/prodder were designed and built by Carbo Spars to the highest specifications - Monolithic Carbon
There is a full set of running rigging for all applications, plus adequate spares.

Deck Gear/Hardware
All the winches are 'state of the art' Lewmar products and most of the blocks are Lewmar Air Blocks, again, especially designed for racing.The boat has three steering positions, one in the Pod (central position), one out on the Port beam and one on the Starboard beam.

The hydraulic system can be switched so that it only works at one position - this is for safety, i.e. damaging rudder, etc. There is a spare tiller for emergency use, designed for long distance offshore sailing/racing.
